The Thames Path 100k Challenge

Consort Consultancy Services are proud to sponsor Nick Thomson for the Thames Path 100k Challenge this weekend.

Nick is Finance Manager at Quattro Plant, a leading provider of plant hire solutions.

He will be competing with 1500 other participants in the Thames Path Challenge and will attempt to complete the 100km non-stop (approx. 62mile) route on the 14th and 15th of September.

Competitors can choose to either run or walk the event, which starts in Putney, South-West London and follows the River Thames, finishing in Henley, Oxfordshire. It must be completed within 24 hours.

"We will be setting off at 0900 hours from Putney on the Saturday, and keep going until we (hopefully all of us) arrive at Henley – having trotted, walked and I suspect crawled all of the way through the night," he said.

Nick is hoping to raise a sizeable amount of money for the charity Epilepsy Research UK, just over two years after his daughter was diagnosed with the condition.

To date, Nick's small team has raised £3,757, including £100 that Consort donated back in June, and they would like to hit their £4,000 team target. If you would like donate, please do so via Nick's JustGiving page by clicking here.
