LinkedIn button for contractors

Business-orientated social network LinkedIn is reportedly trialling an 'interested in contract work' button for your profile, according to Freelance Advisor.
A number of users who have listed themselves as contract workers in the past have been chosen to take part in the closed beta testing, which will hopefully result in a general release later in 2013.
LinkedIn has a growing user base, and in January 2013 it was announced that it had recruited 200 million members. The social network, which celebrated its 10th birthday earlier this month, is becoming used more and more by both employers and employees.
The profile button is bound to benefit contractors as it will provide a quick and easy way for potential clients to see contractors who are available.
