Increase in National Minimum Wage
01.10.11
The UK National Minimum Wage (NMW) has increased as of today (1st October 2011) from £5.93 to £6.08 for workers aged over 21 years. At a time of financial prudence for most employers, this will be an unwanted increase to their costs. This will come as a hindrance for employers, but for those already outsourcing the supply of services to Consort they will be unaffected by this change.
