A new book has revealed that the real reason that Swedish pop sensations ABBA wore such outrageous costumes in the 70s and 80s was so the cost could be deducted against tax.
According to the Eurovision winners' new book ABBA: The Official Photo Book, the law stated that the cost of the outfits could be deductible against their taxable income if they were so outrageous that they couldn't be worn on the streets.
